IL-9-tot expressie brengende T- en ILC2-cellen worden geïnduceerd tijdens N. brasiliensis-infectie , maar hun karakterisering is grotendeels over het hoofd gezien in de geïnfecteerde darm vanwege hun lage frequentie en differentiële kinetiek. Dit protocol beschrijft de isolatie van deze cellen uit verschillende doelorganen en de bevestiging van hun identiteit via flowcytometrie in verschillende infectiestadia.
