Vi presenterer en protokoll for å evaluere balansen mellom glutamat frigjøring og klaring ved enkelt kortikostriatal glutamatergic synapser i akutte skiver fra voksne mus. Denne protokollen bruker fluorescerende sensor iGluu for glutamat deteksjon, et sCMOS kamera for signaloppkjøp og en enhet for fokal laser belysning.
