כאן נציג של assay חדירות כלי דם במוח העכבר באמצעות הזרקה בקרום הבטן של המשדרים פלורסנט ואחריו זלוף הרלוונטיים מודלים חייתיים של תפקוד לקוי של מחסום הדם - מוח. חמי-המוח משמש עבור הערכת חדירות באופן כמותי, והשני עבור מעקב חזותי/immunostaining. התהליך לוקח ב' 5-6-10 עכברים.
