Les modèles traditionnels d’AVC photothrombotique (PTS) induisent principalement des agrégats plaquettaires denses d’une haute résistance au traitement lytique par activateur tissulaire du plasminogène (tPA). Ici, un modèle PTS murin modifié est introduit en co-injectant de la thrombine et un colorant photosensible pour la photoactivation. Le modèle PTS amélioré par la thrombine produit des caillots mixtes plaquettaire/fibrine et est très sensible à la thrombolyse tPA.
