Descreveremos um protocolo para cirurgicamente expor e estabilizar a glândula salivar submandibular murino para intravital imagem usando microscopia intravital vertical. Este protocolo é facilmente adaptável a outras glândulas exócrinas da cabeça e região do pescoço dos ratos e outros pequenos roedores.
