Een gemodificeerde dichtheidscentrifugatiegradient gebaseerde methodologie werd gebruikt om epitheelcellen van Rhipicephalus microplus gutweefsel te isoleren. Oppervlakte gebonden eiwitten werden biotinyleerd en gezuiverd door streptavidine magnetische kralen voor gebruik in downstream toepassingen.
