Infectie van neonatale muizen met bioluminescente E. coli O1:K1:H7 resulteert in een septische infectie met significante longontsteking en longpathologie. Hier beschrijven we procedures om neonatale sepsis te modelleren en verder te bestuderen met behulp van longitudinale intravitale beeldvorming parallel met de opsomsoming van systemische bacteriële lasten, ontstekingsprofilering en longsentopathologie.
