Descriviamo un protocollo per esporre chirurgicamente e di stabilizzare la ghiandola salivare sottomandibolare murina per videomicroscopia imaging utilizzando la microscopia intravital in posizione verticale. Questo protocollo è facilmente adattabile ad altre ghiandole esocrine della testa e collo regione dei topi e altri piccoli roditori.
