En snabb metod för att få infiltrera leukocyter från mus hjärnan beskrivs. Denna metod använder en kontinuerlig Percoll lutning och diskontinuerliga Ficoll lutning för att välja och rena leukocyt-berikade lager. Isolerade leukocyter kan då präglas av flödescytometrisk mätningar.
