Hier beschreiben wir eine neue Methode, um die Mechanismen der zellulären Immunität gegen Plasmodien während der Blutphase der Infektion aufzuklären. Dabei handelt es sich um einen In-vitro-Assay , der die Abtötung infizierter roter Blutkörperchen durch zytotoxische Lymphozyten misst.
