Her beskriver vi en detaljeret protokol skitserer en ny fluorescerende farvning teknik til påvisning af total protein i polyacrylamidgeler. Protokollen udnytter en sølv ion-specifikke fluorescens turn-on sonde, som registrerer Ag+-proteinkomplekser, og fjerner visse begrænsninger af traditionelle kromogent sølv pletter.
