De craniale mesenchym ondergaat dramatische morfogenische bewegingen die waarschijnlijk zorgt voor een drijvende kracht voor verhoging van de neurale plooien<sup> 1,2</sup>. Hier beschrijven we een<em> Ex vivo</em> Explanteren assay om de cellulaire gedrag van de craniale mesenchym karakteriseren tijdens neurulatie. Deze test heeft vele toepassingen waaronder dat vatbaar is voor farmacologische manipulatie en live imaging analyses.
