Een module voor enkel vlak verlichting microscopie (SPIM) beschreven die gemakkelijk wordt aangepast om een omgekeerde wide-field microscoop en geoptimaliseerd voor 3-dimensionale celculturen. Het monster is gelegen in een rechthoekige capillaire en via een microfluïdische systeem fluorescente kleurstoffen kunnen farmaceutische middelen of geneesmiddelen in kleine hoeveelheden worden toegepast.
