Microbiële biofilms zijn over het algemeen gevormd door verschillende subpopulaties van gespecialiseerde cellen. Eencellige analyse van deze subpopulaties vereist het gebruik van fluorescerende reporters. Hier beschrijven we een protocol voor het visualiseren en controleren meerdere subpopulationswithin<em> B. subtilis</em> Biofilms met behulp van fluorescentie microscopie en flowcytometrie.
