Basado en la ingeniería lentiviral in vitro de precursores neuronales, su co-trasplante en cerebros de tipo salvaje y evaluación morfométrica emparejada de derivados de "prueba" y "control", este método permite el modelado preciso del control genético in vivo del neocortical morfología de las neuronas de una manera simple y asequible.
