Beschikbaarheid van somatische SCs is van cruciaal belang voor regeneratieve geneeskunde, ziekte modellering en inzicht te krijgen in de eigenschappen van de SC. Hier presenteren we experimentele strategieën om te herprogrammeren, in vitro, gedifferentieerde volwassen cellen in hun overeenkomstige uitbreidbaar weefsel-specifieke stam/voorlopercellen door de voorbijgaande uitdrukking van de enkele transcriptionele co activator YAP.
