Målet med denna tubuli squash teknik är att snabbt bedöma cytologiska funktioner att utveckla mus spermatocyter samtidigt bevara cellulär integritet. Denna metod möjliggör studiet av alla stadier av spermatogenesen, och lätt kan genomföras parallellt med andra biokemiska och molekylära biologiska metoder för studier av mus meios.
