Dit protocol beschrijft een betrouwbare methode voor verdoving en beeldvorming van intacte<em> Drosophila melanogaster</em> Larven. We hebben gebruik gemaakt van de vluchtige anesthetica desfluraan om voor herhaalde beeldvorming op sub-cellulair resolutie en re-identificatie van structuren zorgen voor maximaal een paar dagen<sup> 1</sup>.
