We beschrijven het gebruik van hematopoietische stamceltransplantatie (HSCT) te beoordelen van de kwaadaardige potentieel van genetisch gemanipuleerde hematopoietische cellen. HSCT is handig voor de evaluatie van verschillende kwaadaardige hematopoietische cellen in vivo , alsmede het genereren van een grote cohort van muizen met myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) of leukemie ter evaluatie van nieuwe therapieën.
