Hier presenteren we een methode voor de prestatie- en veiligheidsbeoordeling op lange termijn van zachte subdurale elektrode-arrays in een minivarkensmodel, waarbij chirurgische methoden en hulpmiddelen, postoperatieve magnetische resonantiebeeldvorming, elektrofysiologie van de auditieve cortex, elektrochemische eigenschappen van het implantaat en postmortale immunochemie worden beschreven.
