Les glutathion S-transferases (GST) sont des enzymes de désintoxication impliquées dans le métabolisme de nombreux médicaments chimiothérapeutiques. La surexpression des TSG est corrélée à la résistance à la chimiothérapie contre le cancer. Une façon de contrer ce phénotype est d’utiliser des inhibiteurs. Ce protocole décrit une méthode utilisant un test spectrophotométrique pour dépister les inhibiteurs potentiels de la TPS.
