Het menselijke netvlies is samengesteld uit functioneel en moleculair verschillende regio's, met inbegrip van de fovea, macula en perifere retina. Hier beschrijven we een methode met behulp van punch biopsieën en handmatig verwijderen van de lagen weefsel van een menselijk oog te ontleden en deze verschillende retinale regio's voor downstream Proteoom analyse te verzamelen.
