Het doel van het protocol is om een methode te bieden voor het produceren van niet-invasieve neuronale laesies in de hersenen. De methode maakt gebruik van Magnetic Resonance-guided Focused Ultrasound (MRgFUS) om de bloedhersenbarrière te openen op een voorbijgaande en brandpuntige manier, om een circulerend neurotoxine te leveren aan de hersenen parenchyma.
