Deze techniek verschaft een werkwijze te oogsten, normaliseren en kwantificeren intracellulaire groei van bacteriële pathogenen die vooraf gekweekt in natuurlijke protozoa gastheercellen voor infecties van zoogdiercellen. Deze methode kan worden aangepast aan een grote verscheidenheid van gastheercellen voor de priming podium en doelcel types tegemoet.
