Het celmembraan modificatie van rode bloedcellen (RBC's) met hypervertakte polyglycerol (HPG) wordt getoond. Gewijzigd RBC werden gekenmerkt door waterige twee fase partitionering, osmotische fragiliteit en complement gemedieerde lysis. De camouflage van de oppervlakte-eiwitten en antigenen werd geëvalueerd met behulp van de flowcytometrie en Micro Typing System (MTS) bloed fenotypering kaarten.
