Denne protokol beskriver porcin myokardieinfarkt (MI) model ved hjælp af en 90 min lukket bryst koronar ballon okklusion af den venstre forreste nedadgående arterie (LAD), efterfulgt af reperfusion. Desuden protokollen for flere outcome parametre, såsom hjertefunktion, hæmodynamik microvascular modstand og infarktstørrelse, er også præsenteret.
