Dit protocol beschrijft een microfabrication-compatible methode voor cel-patroon op SiO 2. Een vooraf gedefinieerde Parylene-C ontwerp wordt fotolithografische gedrukt op SiO 2 wafels. Na incubatie met serum (of andere activering oplossing) cellen specifiek hechten aan (en te groeien volgens de conformiteit van) onderliggende parylene-C, terwijl wordt afgestoten door SiO 2 regio's.
