Hier presenteren we een systematische aanpak voor het ontwikkelen van fysiologisch relevante, gevoelige en specifieke<em> In vivo</em> Assays voor het interpreteren van variatie in humane pathologie. Transiënte genetische manipulatie via micro-injectie van WT en mutante humane mRNA en morfolino (MO) antisense oligonucleotiden benutten van de traceerbaarheid het zebravisembryo embryo snel assay pathogene mutaties, in het bijzonder maar niet uitsluitend, in de context van menselijke ontwikkelingsstoornissen.
