Vi havde til formål at udvikle en reproducerbar protokol til at isolere og opretholde langsigtede kulturer af humane fungiform smag papiller celler. Celler fra menneskelige fungiform papiller opnået ved biopsi blev med succes holdt i kultur i mere end otte passager (12 måneder) uden tab af levedygtighed.
