De Giant Fiber System is een eenvoudige neuronale circuit van de volwassen<em> Drosophila melanogaster</em> Met de grootste neuronen in de vlieg. We beschrijven het protocol voor de controle synaptische transmissie via deze route door het opnemen van posten synaptische potentialen in dorsale longitudinaal (DLM) en tergotrochanteral (TTM) spieren na directe stimulatie van de Giant Fiber interneuronen.
