Her presenterer vi en modifisert TGA-metode for estimering av lignininnhold i urteaktig plantebiomasse. Denne metoden estimerer lignininnholdet ved å danne spesifikke thioetherbindinger med lignin og gir en fordel i forhold til Klason-metoden, da det krever et relativt lite utvalg for lignininnholdsestimering.
