Descriviamo un approccio semi-quantitativo di misurazione delle caratteristiche delle comunità di artropodi corticolous (bark-dwelling). Abbiamo piazzato trappole appiccicose fabbricate commercialmente sui boli degli alberi per stimare l'abbondanza, la lunghezza totale (un surrogato alla biomassa), la ricchezza e la diversità di Shannon per il confronto tra le specie arboree.
