Sonia Hernández is the Collection Development Librarian at Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey). Ms. Hernández is currently developing her knowledge in copyright law and legal aspects to managing digital collections. She regularly teaches workshops and gives lectures at the library. Ms. Hernández is also an independent proofreading consultant and translates educational content. Prior to her library experience she worked with ISO documentation and indexing film productions. She is from in Monterrey, NL in northern Mexico.
