Her er en protokoll for å identifisere genetiske interaksjoner gjennom en økt kopi nummer suppressor skjerm i Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Denne metoden gjør det mulig for forskere å identifisere, klone og teste suppressors i kortvarige gjærmutanter. Vi tester effekten av kopinummerøkningen av SIR2 på levetid i en autofagi null mutant.
