Vi demonstrerer en enkelt cellekultur af bakterier inde i gigantiske vesikler (GVs). GVS indeholdende bakterieceller blev fremstillet ved dråbe overførselsmetoden og blev immobiliseret på en understøttet membran på et glas substrat for direkte observation af bakterievækst. Denne fremgangsmåde kan også tilpasses andre celler.
