Het protocol hier beschrijft de interacties van gezuiverde hEAG1 ion kanaal eiwit met de kleine molecuul lipide ligand phosphatidylinositol 4, 5-difosfaat (PIP2). De meting toont aan dat BLI zou een mogelijke methode voor nieuwe kleine-molecuul ion kanaal ligand screening.
