Langsigtet kulturperler interferon-γ enzymbundet immunospot assay anvendes som et mål for centrale hukommelse svarene og korrelerer med beskyttende anti-mycobakterielle vaccine reaktioner. Med dette assay er perifere mononukleære blodceller stimuleret med mycobakterielle antigener og interleukin-2 i 14 dage, muliggør differentiering og udvidelse af centrale hukommelse T-celler.
