In dieren met grote geïdentificeerde neuronen (<em> Bv</em> Weekdieren), wordt de analyse van de motorische zwembaden gedaan met behulp van intracellulaire technieken<sup> 1,2,3,4</sup>. Onlangs hebben we een techniek ontwikkeld om extracellulair stimuleren en individuele neuronen opnemen in<em> Aplysia californica</em<sup> 5</sup>. We hebben nu beschrijven een-protocol voor het gebruik van deze techniek om eenduidig te identificeren en motorische neuronen karakteriseren binnen een motor zwembad.
