Dit rapport toont een techniek voor mechanische isolatie van individuele levensvatbare neuronen te behouden bevestigd presynaptische boutons. Vibrodissociated neuronen hebben de voordelen van een snelle productie, een uitstekende farmacologische controle en een betere ruimte-clamp zonder invloed van naburige cellen. Deze methode kan gebruikt worden voor beeldvorming van synaptische elementen en patch-clamp opname.
