Naira Movsisyan Oncophysiology Group Max Planck Institute of Experimental Medicine Biography Publications Institution JoVE Articles Naira MovsisyanPhD Graduate Naira Movsisyan is a recent PhD graduate from Georg-August University Goettingen, Germany. Since 2015 she works as a researcher in the Oncophysiology Group at Max-Planck Institute of Experimental Medicine under supervision of Prof Dr L Pardo. Her project focuses on understanding the role of a voltage-gated potassium channel in the regulation of cell cycle progression. She obtained her MSc in Molecular Medicine (2013 - 2015) from Georg-August University Goettingen (Germany), MSc in Medical Biochemistry (2010 -2012) and Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry (2006 – 2010) from Yerevan State University (Armenia). While studying, she worked as a Junior Researcher at H. Buniatian Institute of Biochemistry at National Academy of Science of Armenia (2009 – 2013). Naira Movsisyan has been awarded a DAAD (German Academic Exchange Programme) scholarship for her MSc studies at Georg-August University of Goettingen.
