Hier presenteren we een protocol voor het verkrijgen van niet-coronale auditieve hersenstamschijfjes van het kippenembryo voor het onderzoek naar tonotopische eigenschappen en ontwikkelingstrajecten binnen één hersenstamsegment. Deze segmenten omvatten sagittale, horizontale en horizontale / transversale secties die grotere tonotopische gebieden omvatten binnen een individueel segmentvlak dat de traditionele coronale secties omvat.
