Hier presenteren we een protocol om Homalodisca vitripennis cellen en HoCV-1 propageren in vitro. Medium werd verwijderd uit HoCV-1 positieve kweken en RNA geëxtraheerd elke 24 uur gedurende 168 uur. Cell overlevingsvermogen werd gekwantificeerd door trypan blauw kleuring. Hele virusdeeltjes werden geëxtraheerd na infectie. Geëxtraheerde RNA werd gekwantificeerd door qRT-PCR.
