Neisseria meningitidis (Nm), een gram negatieve mens-specifieke respiratoire pathogeen, kan binden aan menselijke α-actinine. Hier presenteren wij een protocol voor de visualisatie van colocalisation van de bacterie met de intracellulaire α-actinine na bacteriële binnenkomst in menselijke hersenen microvasculaire endotheelcellen (HBMECs).
