Dr. Moshe Pritsker is a scientist and entrepreneur. Born in northwest Russia, he graduated high school at the age of 16 before emigrating to Israel, where he earned his B.Sc. in Chemistry from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and his M.Sc. in Chemistry from the Weizmann Institute of Science. Following his studies at the Weizmann Institute of Science, he arrived in the United States where he completed his PhD in Molecular Biology at Princeton University. Before JoVE, Dr. Pritsker was a postdoctoral researcher at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School. His research works on embryonic stem cells, HIV proteins, and genome analysis were published in prominent scientific journals such as Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Journal of Biological Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Genome Research. Dr. Pritsker resides with his wife and two children in Melrose, Massachusetts.
