Generation af inducerede pluripotente stamceller giver fascinerende udsigter for afledning af autologe transplantationer. Men progression gennem en pluripotent tilstand og møjsommelig re-differentiering stadig hindrer klinisk oversættelse. Her beskriver vi afledningen af voksne humane fibroblaster og deres direkte omdannelse til inducerede neurale progenitorceller og den efterfølgende differentiering til neurale slægter.
