ويستخدم microdevice مع إمكانات إنتاجية عالية لإثبات ثلاثية الأبعاد (3D) dielectrophoresis (DEP) مع المواد الجديدة. الجرافين رقة nanoplatelet والشريط مزدوجة من جانب كانت مكدسة بالتناوب؛ تم حفر 700 ميكرون الصغيرة جيدا عرضية إلى طبقات. وقد تجلى السلوك DEP من الخرز البوليسترين في الدقيقة جيدا.
