Her præsenteres en omkostningseffektiv og transportabel metode/facilitet til måling af mikrobielle måtters primære produktivitet under faktiske in situ miljøtemperaturer og lysforhold. Den eksperimentelle opsætning er baseret på bredt tilgængelige materialer og kan bruges under forskellige forhold, samtidig med at den giver fordelene ved laboratoriebaserede modeller.
