Ev tozu akarları (HDM) gibi çevresel alerjenler genellikle alerjik iltihabı düzenlemek için doğuştan gelen bağışıklık yanıtlarını aktive mikrobiyal maddeler içerir. Burada sunulan protokol HDM alerjenlerinde dsRNA türlerinin tanımlanmasını ve eozinofilik akciğer iltihabının modüle edilmesinde immünojenik faaliyetlerinin karakterizasyonunu göstermektedir.
