Milieuallergenen zoals huisstofmijt (HDM) bevatten vaak microbiële stoffen die aangeboren immuunreacties activeren om allergische ontstekingen te reguleren. Het hier gepresenteerde protocol toont de identificatie aan van dsRNA-soorten in HDM-allergenen en karakterisering van hun immunogene activiteiten bij het moduleren van eosinofiele longontsteking.
