Her præsenterer vi to nemme at følge trin-for-trin protokoller for sted præference paradigmer ved hjælp af optogenetik i mus. Ved hjælp af disse to forskellige opsætninger, præference og undgåelse adfærd kan vurderes solidt inden for samme apparat med høj rumlig og tidsmæssige selektivitet, og i en enkel måde.
